TruExchange and DCI to Create New Class of Global Semiconductor Exchange Based in Ottawa, Canada

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Aug. 29 -- TruExchange, Inc. ("TruExchange'') and Ottawa -based Dynasty Components, Inc. (TSE: DCI) have unveiled plans for a new class of global semiconductor exchange that will be based in Ottawa, Canada. The DCIexchange Semiconductor Trading Portal will be powered by TruMarket exchange software developed by TruExchange, Inc.

"Combining our software with DCI's semiconductor experience and vast sales network is an exciting proposition. TruMarket is the ideal product to power the DCIexchange Semiconductor Trading Portal. DCI will bring the liquidity, and we will make it move faster than anything on the web today. Together we will be able to deliver the world,'' said Mr. Michael Fertik, President and Co-Founder of TruExchange, Inc.

"We believe that our web-based semiconductor trading exchange offering will be unmatched. TruExchange's TruMarket software acts as an ultra-performance matching engine, offering unprecedented efficiencies which will resonate throughout the global supply chain for semiconductors. By combining this intuitive, easy-to-use software with our national sales force and affiliated sales representatives around the world, DCI plans to offer unparalleled access to semiconductors on a truly global level,'' comments Rick Tachuk, Director for E-Business Services of DCI.

"Through our partnership, TruExchange will bring DCI the fastest, most accurate, and advanced liquidity and transaction engine available in any industry,'' said Gary Economo, President and CEO of DCI. "Together, we will also offer something else that the exchange environment has yet to see: Software that's comprehensive enough to handle a high-speed commodity market environment, yet user friendly enough to support direct buyers and sellers as well.''

Jim Furneaux, Founding Partner of Boston-based Kodiak Venture Partners is equally bullish: "I'm extremely excited about the potential of the TruExchange-powered DCI Semiconductor Exchange. This is a red hot commodity and the marriage of this cutting-edge Boston start-up with its Harvard and MIT roots to a real-world semiconductor success story like DCI bodes well for this Ottawa-based venture. The Gartner Group predicts that non-financial transactions through portals such as this one will exceed $2.7 trillion by 2004. I predict that the DCIexchange will be the model that will be followed.''
